Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe Airport and transfer to a hotel in Kampala
Depending on your arrival time at Entebbe Airport, the guide will transfer you from the Airport to a hotel in Kampala for dinner and your night’s rest
Day 2: Kampala city tour
On day 2 of the Uganda safari, you will have breakfast at the hotel, and then you will go for a Kampala city tour. You will visit several places like the Kasubi tombs, the museum, Kabaka’s lake and Nakasero market. You will go for lunch and then continue with the city tour. In the evening, you will return to the hotel for dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 3: Transfer from a hotel in Kampala to Murchison Falls National Park
On day 3, a guide will pick you up from the hotel in Kampala and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. You will have another stopover at Masindi town for lunch. You arrive in Murchison Falls National Park in the evening, and then you check into a lodge. You will have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 4: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
On day 4, after breakfast, you will have a morning game drive for about 3 to 4 hours. You will then return to the lodge for lunch after wildlife viewing.
In the afternoon, you will have a boat cruise and then return to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 5: Chimpanzee trekking and hike to the top of the falls
On day 5, after having breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee trekking in Budongo forest to find the chimpanzee. You will spend one hour with them and then return to the lodge for lunch.
In the evening, you will hike to the top of the falls, and then you will return to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 6: Transfer to Kibale National Park
On day 6, you will have breakfast and then be transferred to Kibale National Park. You will have your lunch at the lodge in Kibale, and you will spend the afternoon at leisure. You will be served dinner in the evening, and then you retire to bed.

Day 7: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
On day 7, you will have breakfast and then go for chimpanzee trekking after a briefing. You will search for the chimpanzees for about 30 minutes to 4 hours. You will spend 1 hour with them after spotting them. You will take pictures of them, and then you will return to the lodge for lunch.
You will have a Bigodi swamp walk in the late afternoon, and you will have views of several birds and primates. You will then go back to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 8: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
On day 8, you will be served breakfast, and then you will check out of the lodge. The guide will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will check into a lodge for lunch, relaxation, dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 9: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
On day 9, you will have breakfast and then go for a morning game drive for wildlife viewing. You will then get back to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will have a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, which will take about 2 to 3 hours. You will spot animals like hippos, crocodiles and many more. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 10: Lion tracking and an afternoon game drive
On day 10, you will have breakfast early in the morning, and then you will go for lion tracking, where you will be able to spot the tree-climbing lions and research their behaviours. You will then return to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, you will have a game drive, which will enable you to spot several animals in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 11: Chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge
On day 11, you will have breakfast and then go to the park headquarters for a briefing. After the briefing, you will be given an armed ranger guide to escort you for the chimpanzee trekking in Kyambura Gorge. You will spend 1 hour with the chimpanzees after spotting them, and you will return to the lodge for lunch. You will spend the afternoon at the lodge, and you will have dinner in the evening. After dinner, you will retire to bed.
Day 12: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On day 12, you will have breakfast and then check out of the lodge. You will then be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive and check into a lodge. You will be served lunch, and then you will relax after lunch. You will then be served dinner in the evening, and you retire to bed.

Day 13: Gorilla trekking in the Buhoma sector
On day 13, after breakfast at the lodge, you will have your packed lunch and then go for a briefing. After the briefing, you will have a gorilla trek in the Buhoma sector. After spotting the gorillas, you will have one hour with them to observe their behaviour and then return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 14: Gorilla trekking in the Nkuringo sector and a Batwa cultural experience
On day 14, after breakfast, you will go for a briefing and then go for a gorilla trek in the Nkuringo sector, where you will spend 1 hour with the gorillas after spotting them.
You will return to the lodge for lunch and then have a Batwa cultural experience. You will learn about the culture and traditions of the Batwa. The guide will return you to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 15: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
On day 15, you will have breakfast and then be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park, where you will have lunch, dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 16: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
On day 16, you will have breakfast and then be briefed. You will go for a morning game drive to spot animals in their most active state. You will spot them rising from their habitats. After the game drive, you will go for lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, you will have a boat cruise on Lake Mburo that will start at around 2 p.m. and last for about 2 hours. You will return to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 17: Depart for Kampala
On day 17, you will have breakfast and then be transferred back to Kampala.
