Day 1: Transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park and Afternoon Game Drive
The safari will begin in the morning with a pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi by a representative of Chopper Tour and Travel, a professional driver-guide. The guide will first brief you, and then you will drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. The drive will take about 3 to 4 hours, including a stop along the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photos and fresh air. You will arrive at Lake Nakuru National Park around midday, proceed to your lodge or camp for lunch, and then relax. After lunch and relaxation, you will head out for an afternoon game drive in the park.
During the game drive, you will explore the lake shores where flamingos often gather, painting the water pink. You will also search for rhinos grazing in the open grasslands, along with buffaloes, waterbucks, zebras, and warthogs, among others. The park is also home to Rothschild giraffes, which are unique to this area. As the sun sets, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Return to Nairobi
You will start the day with an early morning game drive. You will be escorted by a ranger guide. As you drive through the park, you are most likely to see lions, leopards, and hyenas returning from their hunting.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. You will then begin your drive back to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon, thus marking the end of the 2 days Lake Nakuru flamingos and rhino safari.
