12 Days Great Wildebeest Migration Safari.

12 Days Ultimate Great Migration Safari: The Great Migration is a timeless journey of more than 1.5 million wildebeest, hundreds of thousands of zebras and countless gazelles moving across the vast plains of northern Tanzania in search of fresh grazing. These Tanzania safaris and Kenya safaris are designed to immerse you fully in that rhythm of nature. This itinerary unfolds gradually across Tanzania’s iconic Northern Circuit, from the baobab- dotted landscapes of Tarangire to the dramatic floor of the Ngorongoro Crater and deep into the endless plains of the Serengeti, where the migration unfolds.
This safari balances adventure with comfort. You will witness elephant herds moving at sunset, descend into a collapsed volcanic caldera with wildlife, and track big cats across open savannah, and depending on the season, you will observe newborn calves taking their first steps or dramatic river crossings where crocodiles lie in wait. Along the way, you will also connect with local cultures whose lives remain deeply tied to the land.
Safari description
Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
Your safari begins in Arusha, the lively gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Upon landing at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver guide and transferred to your lodge beneath the slopes of Mount Meru.
Arusha has a gentle rhythm of vibrant markets, jacaranda trees lining the streets and distant mountain silhouettes. After the journey, you may choose to relax in the lodge gardens, take a refreshing swim or enjoy a guided coffee tour to understand how Tanzania’s volcanic soil produces such rich flavours. In the evening, over a delicious dinner, your guide briefs you about the journey ahead, and then you retire to bed.

After breakfast, you will head to Tarangire National Park. After lunch at the lodge in Tarangire National Park, you will head out to observe wildlife in Tarangire National Park.
