Day 1: Pick up and Transfer to Murchison Falls NP
You will start your trip early in the morning, at 6:30 AM, after finishing your breakfast at the hotel. Set off for Murchison Falls National Park, driving along the Kampala-Gulu highway with a stopover in Luweero market to buy some fresh fruits like oranges, pineapples, and passion fruits. Upon arrival at Murchison Falls National Park, you will drive to the top of Murchison Falls, where you will enjoy a magnificent view of the Nile squeezing through a narrow gorge about 7 metres wide and plunging into a whirlpool about 43 metres below.
Then, proceed to the afternoon boat cruise on the Victoria Nile, where you will get chances to come up close to some animals that lie along the banks of the River Nile, like hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, monitor lizards, warthogs and a cocktail of birds, such as African fish eagles, red-throated bee-eaters, cattle egrets and skimmers, as well as rare shoebills, among others. The boat ride also takes you to the bottom of the Murchison Falls for a memorable sight of the thunderous falls. Day 2: Morning Game drive, depart for Kampala
Wake up and enjoy an early-morning breakfast at around 6 AM, then set out for an early-morning game drive where you will have a chance to catch various nocturnal animals and hunters before they return to their hideouts. Drive through the game track and Queen track, where you will see wildlife species such as lions, jackals, hyenas, Uganda Kobs, oribis, buffaloes, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, bushbucks, antelopes, and elephants, among others. After an unforgettable wildlife experience, drive out of the park and return to Kampala, where you can drop off at the hotel or any place of your choice.
