Detailed Itinerary

Day 1 pickup followed by a Nairobi sightseeing experience

Our driver guide meets you at your Nairobi address to introduce the upcoming Kenya safari before driving you towards the tour. At the start of your Nairobi city exploration, you will go to the Giraffe Centre to see endangered Rothschild giraffes and see recovered baby elephants at the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage.

Before sightseeing, you may choose to visit either the Karen Blixen Museum or the Nairobi National Museum. You will eat lunch at a local restaurant and then choose between heading to the Nairobi Animal Orphanage and taking a short exploration of Nairobi National Park. Go back to your hotel, have dinner and rest for the night.

Day 2: Transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve, evening game drive.

Have breakfast at the hotel, and your driver guide will take you to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive to Maasai Mara National Reserve requires 5 to 6 hours, including a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for memorable views. You will have lunch in Narok town before continuing to the Maasai Mara after leaving the town.

When you arrive, you will check in to the lodge and head out for your evening wildlife spotting tour of the reserve, where you can see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras and wild cats such as lions and leopards. Return to the lodge for dinner and rest for the night.

Day 3: Full day game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve

You will have an early meal before venturing into the ridges of Maasai Mara National Reserve for an entire day wildlife expedition. The park lets you spot an extensive range of animals, which include both Big Five species and other creatures such as cheetahs, hyenas and antelopes.

Visitors who travel to Maasai Mara National Reserve between July and October can observe large groups of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River and their hunting predators during the Great Migration.

You will have your lunch at the heart of the reserve during your break before resuming the game drive. Come back to the lodge in the late afternoon to unwind, have dinner and rest.
