Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: pickup and transfer to Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Our driver guide will pick you up at your Nairobi hotel or specified spot to share safari details. He will accompany your group on the trip to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Driving from Nairobi to the Maasai Mara National Reserve requires 5 to 6 hours, with a necessary stop at the Great Rift Valley for picture-taking at the viewpoint.
You will take a lunch break in Narok town before continuing towards the reserve. You will enter your accommodation at the camp before starting your evening game drive trip. The game drive will let you see multiple animals, including elephants, while tracks of both large cats may become visible. You will drive to your accommodation for dinner and sleep after finishing the game drive.
Day 2: Full day game drive in Maasai Mara National Reserve
Before sunrise, you will join an extended game-watching tour throughout the Maasai Mara National Reserve. You have an excellent opportunity to find zebras, wildebeests, cheetahs, hyenas and Big Five animals during this tour.
During your time between July and October, you will witness herds of millions of wildebeests and zebras crossing the Mara River from Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. The Great Migration presents an extraordinary wildlife sight because waiting predators and crocodiles hide near the water for their prey.
Have a picnic lunch under the savannah plains while admiring their scenic views. As evening comes, you will move through more park regions before returning to your accommodation for rest time, meals and overnight lodging.
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi
Get up early to begin your last day on a Kenyan safari adventure. You have optimal chances to spot lions, leopards and hyenas during the morning as they return to their resting places. During sunrise, you will spot giraffes and zebras as they come out to feed.
You will end the morning drive with breakfast, then pack up to return to Nairobi. Before continuing to Nairobi, your driver guide will stop at Narok town for lunch before taking you to your destination in Nairobi or the airport.
