Detailed Itinerary
Pick up and transfer to Shimoni
You will be picked up from your hotel or another prearranged site in Mombasa or Diani Beach early in the morning to begin this Kenya tour. You will follow the scenic coastline to Shimoni, a small fishing village that serves as the entrance to Kisite-Mpunguti Marine Park. After arriving in a traditional dhow, or sailing boat, you will go on an incredible journey into the Indian Ocean.
Boat ride to Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park and snorkelling
You will get the chance to see dolphins playing in the surf as your cruise approaches Kisite Mpunguti Marine Park. Discovering colourful coral reefs and seeing marine life like angelfish, parrotfish, sea turtles, and more will make your snorkelling or diving trip at the marine park one to remember.
Traditional Swahili seafood on Wasini Island
You will be served a delicious Swahili-style seafood lunch consisting of fresh fish, prawns, coconut rice and tropical fruits after snorkelling on Wasini Island. Vegetarian choices are also available upon request.
Visit to Wasini Village and Shimoni Slave Caves (optional)
