Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Tsavo East National Park
Depending on your location in Nairobi, you will be picked up by our driver guide, who will brief you about the safari. You will then start the journey to Tsavo East National Park, which takes approximately 5 to 6 hours. Along the way, you will enjoy scenic views of the Kenyan countryside, local villages and beautiful landscapes.
Upon arrival in Tsavo East National Park, you will check into the lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will embark on a game drive in the park, where you will have an opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife such as elephants, lions, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, waterbucks and different bird species like the golden-breasted starling, white stork, Egyptian vulture and European bee-eater, among others. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Morning game drive and transfer to Tsavo West National Park
After an early breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive in Tsavo East National Park to catch sight of predators like lions and leopards before they retire to their hiding places. You will also see herds of red elephants, which get their colour from rolling in the park’s red soil.
After the game drive, you will check out of the lodge and start your journey to Tsavo West National Park. The drive takes about 2 to 3 hours, and upon arrival, you will check into the lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will enjoy another game drive in Tsavo West, where you will see animals such as rhinos, hippos, elands, fringe-eared oryx, giraffes and zebras, as well as the stunning landscapes of the park. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Game drive and visit to Mzima Springs
After breakfast, you will go for a morning game drive to explore more of Tsavo West’s wildlife. You will then visit Mzima Springs, a beautiful natural spring where you can see hippos and crocodiles swimming in the crystal-clear water. The area is also home to various bird species and is a great spot for photography.
After the visit to Mzima Springs, you will return to the lodge for lunch and spend the afternoon at leisure, relaxing or enjoying the lodge’s facilities. In the evening, you can go for another optional game drive before returning to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4: Morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi
On the last day of your 4 days Nairobi, Tsavo East, and Tsavo West safari, you will wake up early for a final morning game drive to spot more wildlife in Tsavo West. You will then return to the lodge for breakfast, check out and start your journey back to Nairobi.
You will have a stopover for lunch on the way, and upon arrival in Nairobi, your driver guide will drop you off at your preferred location or at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
