A 2 days Akagera wildlife experience is an adventure that takes you to Akagera National Park for a wildlife experience where you will see the diverse wildlife population in Akagera National Park. Akagera National Park is home to all the big five animals and also shelters a lot more wildlife species. This Rwanda safari will enable you to engage in a boat cruise on Lake Ihema and a morning game drive. This wildlife experience will take place for 2 days, and it will start and end at Kigali Airport.

Day 1: Pick up from Kigali Airport and transfer to Akagera National Park, and an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema
Upon arrival at Kigali Airport, you will meet with a Chopper Tour and Travel company representative, and you will go through the safari details. You will then set off to Akagera National Park. Upon arrival, you will check into a lodge, relax and then you will be served lunch. After having lunch, you will be picked up from the lodge by a guide.
You will go for an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Ihema. You will have about 1 to 2 hours while on the boat cruise at Lake Ihema. You will be able to see wildlife, including birds and animals. You will spot hippos, crocodiles, and others. You will then head back to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and depart for Kigali Airport
You will have an early morning breakfast, and then you will be picked up from the lodge and transferred to the park headquarters. You will be briefed at the park headquarters, and you will set off for a morning game drive. The morning game drive will last for approximately 3 to 4 hours as you dive into the eye-catching wildlife views of birds and animals like lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, bushbucks and many more. You will be transferred back to the lodge after the morning game drive, and you will freshen up. You will have lunch, and after that, you will check out. After checking out, you will be transferred to Kigali Airport for your flight.
