This is a 6 days fly in Uganda primates safari to Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have domestic flights to Kasese Airstrip to get to Kibale National Park and Kihihi Airstrip to get to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This Uganda safari takes you to 3 national parks of Uganda for a primate adventure.

Detailed itinerary
Day 1: Fly to Kibale National Park
On the first day of the safari, you will arrive at Entebbe Airport, and then you will fly to Kibale National Park. You will arrive at Kasese Airstrip, and it’s where you will meet with the guide who will transfer you to Kibale National Park
You will check into a lodge when you arrive at Kibale National Park. After settling in, you will have lunch and spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge. You will have dinner at the lodge, and then you will retire to bed.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and a Bigodi wetland sanctuary visit
On the second day of the safari, you will have breakfast, and then the guide will take you for chimpanzee trekking after a briefing. After searching for the chimpanzees for about 30 minutes to 4 hours, you will spend 1 hour with them in their natural habitat. You will then leave and head back to the lodge.
You will have lunch and afterwards go for a visit to the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. You will spot several primates and birds at the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary. You will then get back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a morning game drive and a boat cruise
On the third day, you will have breakfast, and after you will check out of the lodge. You will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will check into a lodge and then go for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. You will have about 3 to 4 hours conducting the game drive, and then the guide will guide you as you spot several animal species and bird species. You will head back to the lodge, have lunch and then go for an afternoon boat cruise.
The afternoon boat cruise will take place at the Kazinga Channel, and you will take about 2 to 3 hours while conducting this boat cruise. You will experience the game viewing where you will spot crocodiles, hippos and many more wildlife species. You will then head back to the lodge, and you will relax, have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 4: Fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On the fourth day of the safari, you will have breakfast at the lodge, and after you will check out. You will be transferred to Kasese Airstrip, and you will board a flight to Kihihi Airstrip. You will meet with a guide who will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will check into a lodge when you arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have lunch at the lodge, and you will relax till evening. You will have dinner, and then you will retire to bed.

Day 5: Gorilla trekking
On the fifth day of safari, you will have breakfast, and then you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing with a packed lunchbox from the lodge. You will be briefed on details about gorilla trekking. You will then start the gorilla trek. You will take about 30 minutes to 7 hours to find the gorillas. You will spend one hour with the gorillas. You will take pictures of the Uganda gorillas as you observe them. You will get back to the lodge, freshen up, have dinner and then retire to bed.

Day 6: Fly to Entebbe Airport
On the last day of the safari, you will be served breakfast, and after that, the guide will drive you to Kihihi airstrip. You will catch a flight at Kihihi airstrip to Entebbe Airport. Your arrival at Entebbe Airport will mark the end of the safari.
