Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
On day 1, upon your arrival at Entebbe airport, a guide will meet you there and you will go through the safari details. You will interact, and then you will head to Lake Mburo National Park. You will stop at Kayabwe at the equator monument, and you will take pictures at the equator and also buy souvenirs. You will also get the chance to visit the Mpambire drum makers. You will learn how the people at this place make the drums. You will go ahead with the journey to Lake Mburo National Park. You will stop at Igongo Cultural Centre and have lunch.
The guides at Igongo Cultural Centre will take you and you will explore this museum, exposing you to the rich history and culture of the people of Ankole. You will see numerous art pieces and remains of the Ankole people that were kept at this museum. There are numerous spots for photography at the Igongo Cultural Centre, and you will be allowed to take pictures. The guide will then take you to Lake Mburo National Park. At Lake Mburo National Park, you will check into a lodge and settle in. You will have dinner and sleep.

Day 2: Morning game drive and a boat cruise
On day 2 of the 4 days Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth, after an early morning breakfast at the lodge, you will be picked up by a guide from the lodge and you will be transferred to the park headquarters. You will be briefed at the park headquarters, and after receiving the guidelines, you will have a ranger guide to set off with you for the game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. The game drive takes about 3 hours, depending on the guide. You will drive as you spot animals and birds. You will be able to see the zebras, giraffes, elephants, bushbucks, buffaloes, bush pigs and many more. The guide will transfer you back to the lodge, and you can rest.
After having lunch at the lodge, the guide will give you for briefing. You will have an afternoon boat cruise at Lake Mburo, and after receiving the guidelines to follow from the guides, you will head to the lake. You will engage in a boat cruise on this lake, exposing you to the aquatic animals and birds. You will see the crocodiles and the hippos. After the boat cruise at Lake Mburo, you will be driven back to the lodge. You will relax at the lodge, have dinner and then retire to bed.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and an afternoon boat cruise
On day 3 of the 4 days Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth, after having breakfast at the lodge, you will check out. The guide will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, you will check into a lodge and then have lunch. After the lunch meal, you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will be briefed about what you require and how to behave while on a boat cruise at the Kazinga channel.
The guide will then take you on the boat cruise. The boat cruise on Kazinga channel lasts for 2 to 3 hours. You will explore the beauty of this lake and also spot wildlife like the hippos and crocodiles. You will be taken back to the lodge for dinner and the night’s rest.

Day 4: Morning game drive and depart to Kampala
On day 4 of the 4 days Lake Mburo and Queen Elizabeth, you will have breakfast early in the morning, and the guide will transfer you to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will be told what to do and what you are not supposed to do while on a game drive. After the briefing, you will have a morning game drive, exposing you to the big five animals. In the morning game drive, you see many animals due to the fact that it’s when they are very active. Queen Elizabeth National Park shelters 4 of the big five animals, and you will sight animals like the leopards, elephants, bushbucks, buffaloes, lions and many more. After the morning game drive, you will head back to the lodge, check out and then head back to Kampala. You will have an enroute lunch at Igongo Cultural Centre, and then you will proceed to Kampala. The guide will leave you at a hotel in Kampala, and it’s there that the safari will end.
