Day 1: Pick up from a hotel in Kampala and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On the 1st day of the 3 days Bwindi gorilla trekking, a guide from Chopper Tour and Travel will meet you at a hotel in Kampala after you have had an early morning breakfast. The guide will give you the details about the trip as you get prepared for the Uganda safari experience, where you will then start the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have a stopover at Kayabwe at the equator monument, and you will take pictures for memories. Then you will proceed to the Mpambire drum makers, and you will get the knowledge about how the drums are made, and they will educate you a lot about the culture.
You will continue with the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and you will have a stopover at Igongo Cultural Centre, and you will have a lunch break. After having lunch, you will continue with the journey and arrive at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the evening. You will check into a lodge where you will reside, and then you will be served dinner. After having dinner, you will retire to bed.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and a Batwa cultural experience
On the 2nd day of the tour, you will be served an early morning breakfast, and then you will be given a packed lunch. The guide will transfer you from the lodge to the park headquarters, where you will be briefed by the park wardens about gorilla trekking. You will be given an armed ranger guide to go with you for the gorilla trek, and then you will set off. You will take approximately 30 minutes to 7 hours searching for the gorillas, depending on their location in the forest. After locating them, you will spend 1 hour with the gorillas in their natural habitat. You will observe the way they behave in terms of feeding, playing and many more. The guide will then transfer you back to the lodge.
In the late afternoon, the guide will take you for a Batwa cultural experience. You will spend time with the Batwa people, who teach you their traditional way of preparing local dishes, the way they dance, their traditional hunting and food-gathering skills and much more. The guide will transfer you back to the lodge, and you will relax. You will be served dinner, and you will retire to bed after dinner.

Day 3: Transfer to Kampala
On the 3rd day of the 3 days Bwindi gorilla trekking, you will be served breakfast at the lodge, and then after breakfast, you will check out of the lodge. You will then start the journey back to Kampala. On your way, you will branch off to Lake Bunyonyi and then to the Igongo Cultural Centre and have lunch. After lunch, you will continue to Kampala. You will then be left at the hotel where the guide met you. That will be the end of the days of Bwindi gorilla trekking.
