Queen Elizabeth National Park is Uganda’s most popular wildlife conservation area and landscape that consists of crater lakes, forests, wetlands, savannahs, woodlands, the Kazinga Channel and sightings of the Rwenzori ranges. It is home to over 95 mammals, 600 species of birds, 10 primates, and others.

Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP – Boat cruise on the Kazinga channel
You can start your Uganda safari by picking up very early (6 am) from either Kampala or Entebbe before starting the long journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Along the way, you will stop at the equator crossing in Kayabwe for photography and have a chance to stand in two hemispheres at the same time. Arrive in the park, check into your lodge for lunch and later go on the afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. During your boat cruise, expect to sight various water species such as kingfishers, saddle-billed storks, shoebill storks, knob-billed ducks, African jacanas, yellow wagtails, common squacco herons, and flamingos. Other species to see are buffalo, crocodiles, elephants and hippos bathing in the water channel. Dinner and overnight stay at Elephant Hab – mid-range.

Day 2: Game drive – Departure
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge before heading out on the morning game drive at Kasenyi Plains. Expecting to see animals like leopards, buffaloes, hyenas, mongooses, elephants, kobs, lions, warthogs, and waterbucks. You will also enjoy watching various bird species like the African skimmer, Verreaux’s eagle owl, white-tailed lark, pink-backed pelicans, fish eagles, martial eagles, and black bee-eaters, among others. After a gorgeous game drive, drive out of the park and depart back to Kampala or Entebbe with a stop for lunch en-route. Arriving in the evening to be dropped at your hotel in Kampala or at any convenient place. End of the 2 day Queen Elizabeth National Park tour.
