A 7 Days Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi, Lake Bunyonyi and Lake Mburo safari is specially aimed at exploring the diverse wildlife population in three of Uganda’s National Parks and Lake Bunyonyi for a birding experience. The wildlife species will be spotted during game drives, boat cruises, and while trekking, for example, a chimpanzee trek in Queen Elizabeth National Park and a gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a night game drive

Detailed Itinerary Of The 7 Days Queen Elizabeth, Bwindi, Lake Bunyonyi And Lake Mburo Safari
Day 1: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a night game drive
You will be picked up from a hotel in Kampala, and then the guide will transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National Park using the Kampala – Fort Portal route while on a Uganda safari. You will have several stopovers while travelling to Queen Elizabeth National Park, and some of them will include a visit to Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves and a stopover for lunch in Fort Portal.
You will arrive in Queen Elizabeth National Park in the late afternoon, and you will check into a lodge. You will then leave the lodge and go for a briefing for a night game drive. You will have the opportunity to spot nocturnal animals like lions, leopards, civets, hyenas, serval cats and many more. You will be returned to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and an afternoon boat cruise
You will have breakfast and then go for a briefing at the park headquarters. You will be briefed at the Park headquarters, and then you will head to Kyambura Gorge to conduct the chimp trek. You will search for the chimpanzees for about 2 to 4 hours. After spotting them, you will have one hour with them, and then you will capture pictures after observing them. You will return to the lodge for lunch.
You will have an afternoon boat after lunch at the Kazinga channel that will take approximately 2 to 3 hours. You will have views of wildlife and nature at this channel, and then you will return to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.
Day 3: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for a Batwa cultural experience
You will be given breakfast, and then you will check out of the lodge. You will then be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will check into a lodge upon arrival, and then you will have lunch.
You will go for a Batwa cultural experience after lunch and relaxation. You will learn about the culture of the Batwa, and after interacting for several hours with the Batwa about their history and traditions, you will return to the lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 4: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
You will have breakfast, and then you will go for gorilla trekking after the briefing. You will trek into the forest to search for the gorillas. You will spend only one hour with the gorillas after spotting them, and you will return to the lodge after taking pictures of them. You will have lunch at the lodge.
You will check out after lunch, and then you will be transferred to Lake Bunyonyi, and you will check into a lodge for dinner and your night’s rest.

Day 5: Boat cruise at Lake Bunyonyi and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
You will have an early morning breakfast, and then you will go for a boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi. You will explore several islands in this lake, and then you will head back to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch, you will be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park. You will check into a lodge upon arrival, and it is where you will spend the night after dinner.

Day 6:Morning game drive and a boat cruise
You will have breakfast and then go on a morning game drive after the briefing. You will spot animals like zebras, giraffes, elephants, bushbucks, warthogs, bush pigs, buffaloes and many more. After the morning game drive, you will head back to the lodge for lunch
After lunch, you will embark on a 2-hour afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo. You will spot birds, aquatic animals and many more. The guide will escort you back to the lodge for dinner and a restful night’s sleep.
Day 7: Depart for Kampala
On the last day of the Uganda safari, you will wake up for an early morning breakfast, and after that, you will check out of the lodge. The guide will then take you back to Kampala. You will have an enroute lunch and a stopover at Mpambire drum makers for a cultural experience and the equator monument for pictures. You will then continue to Kampala and be dropped off at a hotel in Kampala.
