This is a 4 days Uganda gorilla and golden monkey tour that takes you on a primate adventure to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Mgahinga National Park. This Uganda tour exposes you to the behaviours of both the golden monkeys and gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is the best location in Uganda where one can go for a gorilla trek since this park has the largest number of gorillas in Uganda, and it is one of the reasons that makes it famous to the world. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is located in the south western part, and it harbours about 19 habituated gorilla families. For Mgahinga National Park, it is the only destination in Uganda where you can find the golden monkeys, making it the best destination in the country for golden monkey trekking. Day 1: Pick up from Entebbe airport to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
On the 4 days gorilla and golden monkey tour, you will connect with a representative guide at Entebbe airport, where you will interact and get to know each other. You will be briefed about the tour, and then the guide will transfer you from Entebbe airport to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will have various views of nature and attractions along the way, with a stopover at Mbarara at Igongo Cultural Centre for lunch. You will explore this museum and get details about the items that are kept there, which elaborate a lot about the culture and traditions of the Ankole people. You will have pictures at Igongo cultural centre and then proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for dinner and your night rest.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Mgahinga National Park
On the 4 days gorilla and golden monkey tour, you will have breakfast at the lodge on day 2 and after the guide comes to pick you from the lodge and take you to the park headquarters. You will then receive the guidelines and criteria to follow as you engage in a gorilla trek. You will be accompanied by an armed ranger guide to the forest after the briefing is done. You will meet various animal and bird species as you trek through the trails, and this rewards you with views of these wildlife species at close range.
You will spend 1 hour with the gorillas in their natural habitat as you capture moments with them on camera. You will go ahead to ask questions about them from the guide, and then you will go back to the lodge after acquiring all the information you need. You will have lunch at the lodge and then check out. The guide will transfer you to Mgahinga National Park. You will get a lodge upon arrival, and you will settle in. You will then have dinner and retire to bed.

Day 3: Golden monkey trekking and Batwa cultural experience
On the 4 days Uganda gorilla and golden monkey tour, you will have breakfast at the lodge on day 3, and then the guide will transfer you to the park headquarters. The guides will take you through a session on how you must behave while on a golden monkey trek. You will receive a ranger guide, and you will start the golden monkey trek. There will be numerous encounters of wildlife like the mammals, primates, birds and numerous tree species as you trek to locate the golden monkeys.
When you locate the golden monkeys, you will be with them for one hour, and you will go ahead to take pictures and videos of them in their natural habitat. You will also learn how they feed, play and much more. The guide will then take you to the lodge, and you will have lunch. Once you are done with lunch, you will be accompanied by the guide back to the park headquarters, and after a briefing, you will set off to the Batwa community for a cultural experience.
The Batwa locals will engage you in a number of activities, and here, you will get to know about their culture, traditions and lifestyle. They will teach you their ancient hunting and food gathering skills, how they prepare their local dishes and many more. You will get a visit to their community initiatives, and after that, you will head back to the lodge and have dinner. You will then have your night rest after dinner.
Day 4: Depart to Entebbe airport
On the 4 days Uganda gorilla and golden monkey tour, you will have breakfast on day 4 of the tour at the lodge. You will check out of the lodge after breakfast, and then you will meet the guide who will transfer you back to Entebbe airport. You will have a lunch meal along the way at a hotel, and then you will stop at the equator monument, where you will buy souvenirs and also take pictures at the monument. You will continue to the airport for your flight.
