Detailed itinerary for the 4 days safari to Kibale and Semuliki National Park
Day 1: Pick up from Kampala and transfer to Kibale National Park
On the first day of the 4 days safari to Kibale and Semuliki National Park, you will be met by a guide at a hotel in Kampala. At the hotel, you will be briefed about the safari details. After concluding the briefing, the guide will then take you to Kibale National Park, where you will spend the first night. On your way to Kibale National Park, you will have a stopover at the Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves, where you will be guided around the caves and also have a visit to the crater lakes. You will explore the wildlife that is at these places and also get to know about the history attached to Amabere ga Nyinamwiru caves.
You will then head to a hotel in Fort Portal for lunch, and after eating your lunch, you will continue the drive to Kibale National Park. You will get to the park, get a lodge, and check in. You will then have dinner and go to bed for the night.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and Bigodi swamp walk
On the second day of the 4 days safari to Kibale and Semuliki national park, you will have an early morning breakfast and then you will head to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will get the guidelines to follow when carrying out a chimpanzee trek in Kibale Forest. You will be given a guide, and then you will head to the forest for chimpanzee trekking. The chimpanzee trekking, depending on the location of the chimpanzees, takes approximately 30 minutes to 4 hours. Kibale National Park is the primate capital; therefore, you will come across various primates like the olive baboons, red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkeys, blue monkeys and many more. After locating the chimpanzees, you will have only 1 hour with them and you will observe them in their natural habitat as you capture how they play, feed, breast feed and much more. The guide will transfer you back to the lodge, and you will have lunch.
You will relax at the lodge after having lunch, and then the guide will come for you and take you to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a Bigodi swamp walk. The Bigodi wetland sanctuary is home to several bird species and primate species. As you walk around, you will get to see these birds and also spot some primates. You will enjoy the nature of this wetland, and then the guide will transfer you back to the lodge. When you reach the lodge, you will have dinner, and then you retire to bed.

Day 3: Morning game drive and visit to the Sempaya hot springs
On the third day of the 4 days safari to Kibale and Semuliki national park, you will be served breakfast, and at the lodge, the guide will pick you up from the lodge and transfer you to the park headquarters for briefing. After the briefing, you will carry out a game drive in Semuliki National Park, where you will have various sights of nature and wildlife. After the game drive, you will be returned to the lodge. When you are at the lodge, you will relax, and then you will be served lunch.
After the lunch meal, you will be briefed and then head with the guide to the Visit to the Sempaya hot springs. These springs consist of the male and female hot springs. You will be amazed at the eggs boiling at these springs, and after capturing the moments at these wonderful hot springs, the guide will drive you back to the lodge. At the lodge, you will have dinner and retire to bed.
