Our 3 Day Lake Mburo National Park tour is an amazing Uganda safari tour package that takes you through a fabulous wildlife adventure and aquatic tourist activities. The park is the smallest Ugandan national park among the ten national parks, located in the western part of Uganda in the Kiruhura district. The trip starts and ends in Kampala or Entebbe.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park – evening game drive
Depending on your point of location in Kampala/Entebbe, our driver guide will pick you up and brief you about the safari. Then, after, set off on the journey to Lake Mburo National Park with a stop at the Uganda equator for an impressive photo shoot.
Continue to the park and arrive in time for lunch. After lunch, relax before connecting to an evening game drive. Expecting to see various animal species like zebras, eland, topi, giraffes, buffaloes, otters, and waterbucks, plus different unique bird species. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Morning game drive and afternoon boat cruise
You wake up, have a coffee and breakfast at the lodge, then drive to the park for a morning game drive. During your game drive, you will be able to see a variety of animals such as zebras, buffaloes, elands, topi, waterbucks, impala, nocturnal animals and numerous bird species. Enjoy hot lunch at the lodge.
After having lunch, you will drive to Lake Mburo for an afternoon boat cruise, which begins at 2 pm. Along your boat cruise activity, expect to sightsee crocodiles and different species of animals along the water banks, such as otters, antelopes, waterbucks, eland, topi, zebras and water animals like blue-headed weavers, herons, pelicans, fish eagles, kingfishers and prehistoric shoebill storks. Return to the lodge for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay as above.
Day 3: Morning nature walks and transfer back to Kampala
You will wake up early, have breakfast at the lodge, then embark on the guided morning nature walk where you will be able to view different vegetation types, mammals like buffaloes and elands, and species of birds like white-winged warblers, African fish eagles, grey-crowned cranes, brown-chested lapwings, black-bellied bustards, emerald-spotted wood doves, and many more.
