Day 1: Transfer from Kigali Airport to Bukavu, Congo
You will arrive at Kigali Airport, and you will be picked up by our company representative. You will first interact after exchanging greetings. You will get to know the details about this Congo safari, and then you will set off to Congo. You will head to Congo via the Cyangugu border. You will check into a lodge in Bukavu town, where you will have lunch.
After having lunch, you will relax at the hotel. You will then have dinner at the same hotel in the evening. After dinner, you will retire to bed.

Day 2: Eastern Lowland Gorilla trekking in Kahuzi-Biega National Park
You will be served an early morning breakfast at the lodge. After breakfast, you will leave the lodge with a guide and go for registration at the park offices. You will meet guides who will brief you about eastern lowland gorilla trekking, and then you will be allocated a gorilla family to search for. You will set off with an armed ranger guide. You will search for the gorillas, and once you spot them, you will spend only one hour with them. You will observe how they feed, play and much more. You will head back to the lodge after taking pictures of these gorillas.
You will be served lunch at the lodge, and then you will spend the rest of the day at the lodge. In the evening, you will have dinner, then retire to bed.

Day 3: Depart for Kigali
You will be served breakfast at the lodge. Once you are done, you will check out of the lodge. The guide will pick you up from the lodge, and you will head to Rwanda. You will connect to Rwanda from Congo via the Cyangugu border. You will arrive at a hotel in Kigali for lunch. After lunch, you will visit the Kimironko market, where you will have a glimpse at the various commodities sold there. You will see the art pieces, clothes, bags, jewellery, fresh fruits, fabric and much more. You will buy some of your choice, and then you will head to Kigali Airport for your flight.
