Day 1: Transfer to L. Bunyonyi
On your 1st day, of 4 days gorilla trekking and lake bunyonyi, you will leave after your breakfast, set off to lake bunyonyi which is well known as the Switzerland of Africa, on your way you will have stopover at the equator for pictures and you will be able to see the lines that separate southern and northern hemispheres, continue your journey to mbarara city for lunch at igoogo culture center while observing the landscapes of Ankole region and the beauty off mbarara city. After your lunch you will continue and head to Lake Bunyonyi with the beautiful viewing of terraced hills of kigezi region, arriving at the park in the late evening you will check in your lodge, have dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2: canoe ride/ transfer to Bwindi National Park
On day 2, after your breakfast, you will have a canoe ride on the 37 island searching for birds and you will be able to spot the few which include; egrets, African skimmer and among others, after you will return to the lodge for lunch, and then set off to Bwindi impenetrable wich is well known for its gorilla trekking activity. Arrive at the park entrance late, check-in for lodge, dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3: trekking Mountain Gorillas
On the 3rd day of 4days gorilla trekking and Lake Bunyonyi, you will wake up every early in the morning after breakfast, your driver will take you at the headquarters for rule and regulations and expectation from trekking, you will have your packed food, since trekking normally takes many hours in the forest because gorillas move to different areas in search for food and water. After briefing, your divided into groups of five people, after spotting the gorillas, your given an extra hour to be with them, study their behaviors en route to the park for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4: Return to Kampala
On the last day of your 4 days gorilla trekking and Lake Bunyonyi, you will wake up early, have your breakfast, you will check out the lodge, and set off to Kampala city or Entebbe airport according to your second flight.
