You will explore Nairobi and visit iconic sites such as the Giraffe Centre and David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage before heading to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. In the Maasai Mara, you will enjoy thrilling game drives, witnessing abundant wildlife, including the Big Five, and, if lucky, the Great Migration.

Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Pick-up and Nairobi city tour
Depending on your location in Nairobi, our driver guide will pick you up and brief you about this Kenya safari. You will start with a city tour, visiting the David Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, where you will see rescued baby elephants and learn about their conservation. You will then proceed to the Giraffe Centre, where you can interact with and feed the endangered Rothschild giraffes.
Afterwards, you will visit the Karen Blixen Museum, which provides insight into Kenya’s colonial history. You will have lunch at a local restaurant before visiting the Nairobi National Museum, which showcases Kenya’s rich history and culture. Later in the afternoon, you will check into your hotel for relaxation, dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2: Transfer to Maasai Mara and afternoon game drive
After an early breakfast, you will check out and meet up with your driver guide to begin your journey to the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The drive takes approximately 5 to 6 hours with a stopover at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for breathtaking scenery and photography.
Upon arrival at Maasai Mara, you will check into the lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, you will head out for an exciting game drive, where you will spot a variety of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, antelopes and big cats such as lions and cheetahs. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Morning game drive and transfer back to Nairobi
On the last day of your safari, you will wake up early for a morning game drive, providing a great opportunity to see nocturnal predators such as leopards and hyenas before they retire to their hiding places. You will also spot other wildlife such as wildebeests, zebras and gazelles.
After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for breakfast, check out and start your journey back to Nairobi. You will have a stopover for lunch in Narok town before proceeding to Nairobi, where your driver guide will drop you off at your preferred location or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your departure flight.
