Day 1: Pick up from a hotel in Kampala and transfer to Kibale National Park
You will be picked up from a hotel in Kampala on the first day of the safari, and the guide will transfer you to Kibale National Park after briefing you. You will come across several attractions on your way to Kibale National Park, and you will have a stopover at Amabere Ga Nyinamwiru caves, where you will get the chance to explore them and also have views of the craters.
You will proceed to a hotel in Fort Portal town for lunch, and then you will continue with the drive to Kibale National Park. You will check into a lodge upon arrival, and then you will be served dinner before you retire to bed.

Day 2: Chimpanzee trekking and a Bigodi swamp walk
You will rise in the morning, and you will be served breakfast at the lodge. You will have breakfast, and then the guide will transfer you from the lodge and take you for a briefing at the park headquarters. You will receive the guidelines to follow while chimpanzee trekking in Kibale Forest, and thereafter, you will be given an armed ranger guide to accompany you.
You will start the chimpanzee trek that will take about 30 minutes to 4 hours to spot the chimpanzees, depending on their location, and then you will spend one hour with the chimpanzees after spotting them. In the forest, you will have views of several primates and birds as you search for the chimpanzees. You will be granted the chance to capture pictures of the chimpanzees as you observe the way they behave. You will then return to the lodge, and you will have lunch.
The guide will pick you up from the lodge in the afternoon and take you for a Bigodi swamp walk that will take about 2 to 3 hours. You will be able to spot a number of primates and birds, and numerous vegetation types. The guide will take you back to the lodge after this experience. You will be served dinner at the lodge, and then you will retire to bed.

Day 3: Transfer to Kampala
In the morning at the lodge, you will be served breakfast, and then the guide will come and transfer you from the lodge after you are done checking out. You will embark on the journey back to Kampala, and you will have an en route lunch. The guide will drop you at a hotel in Kampala, and that will be the end of the safari.
