This is a 4 days Bwindi and Lake Bunyonyi safari from Kigali that will enable you to have a primate adventure in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where you will meet the gorillas. This safari will begin from Kigali Airport, and you will be picked up by our company guide will take you for a tour to the Kigali genocide memorial. You will learn about what took place in the 1994 Rwanda genocide, and then the guide will transfer you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda via the Cyanika border.
You will meet with the gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and get rewarded with numerous memorable experiences. Day 1: Pick up from Kigali Airport and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Upon arrival at Kigali Airport, you will be met and greeted by our company representative guide who will brief you about the safari. The guide will then take you for a visit to the Kigali genocide memorial. You will go through the events that happened during the 1994 Rwanda genocide, and then also get to see the remains of the participants of the 1994 Rwanda genocide that are kept at this memorial ground.
The guide will drive you from the Kigali genocide memorial and then take you for lunch at a hotel in Kigali. You will have lunch and then you will embark on the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will head to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park via Cyanika border, and you will arrive in the evening and check into the lodge. You will be served dinner, and then you will retire to bed.

Day 2: Gorilla trekking
After having an early morning breakfast, you will be given lunch that is packed at the lodge, and then the guide will transfer you from the lodge to the park headquarters. You will be briefed about gorilla trekking at the Park headquarters, and then you will be given an armed ranger guide to escort you to the gorilla trek. You will come across a number of wildlife species while gorilla trekking, and it will take you about 30 minutes to 7 hours to spot the gorillas. After spotting them, you will spend only one hour with them as you observe how they feed, play and much more. You will take photos of them, and then you return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer from Bwindi Impenetrable National Park to Lake Bunyonyi
After having breakfast at your own pace at the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, you will check out of the lodge. You will then be picked up by the guide from the lodge, and you will embark on your journey to Lake Bunyonyi. You will have a stopover for lunch and then proceed to Lake Bunyonyi.
You will have an afternoon boat cruise at Lake Bunyonyi, where you will be able to tour several islands as you learn about the history attached to them and also see several attractions. You will have the chance to spot several birds, and then the guide will transfer you to a lodge. You will check in, relax, have dinner and then retire to bed.
